The Perfect Look
I was feeling a bit chic when I threw this look together. Lucky for me, my hair was two days dirty and WHAM! Effortless bun... Well it didn't happen too much like that, but tutorial very soon!
Have you seen this before? I’m sure you have but I’m also sure you’ve never seen it like this before. I was given the challenge to recreate a photo by a blogger online to recreate a popular homemade Halloween costume seen online. The supplies I used toilet paper, zipper, spirit gum, silicone, red lipstick and foundation. That’s all! I’d say I basically papier-mâché my face to the zipper to create this look. Halloween is my favorite time of the year and I’m up for any challenge to at least try it out! I understand it’s January but October cant come soon enough!! What special fx have you tried lately?
Hair Updo for a wedding a couple months ago. I just found it again and loved how the bun portrayed a rose, so appropriate. This bride had a lot of hair but we pinned and pinned everything all up! The dimension in the blonde is what really made this look come together. She was very pleased for her special day!
Nicolette Sands, such a stunning and enjoyable bride! I recognized from the very first interaction at our hair and makeup trial, that we would have become not only vendor and bride, but friends as well. Not to mention she’s just as big of a football fan as I am! I had such a fantastic experience working on Nicolette’s wedding, not to mention the photography is extraordinary!

You love to hear the inquiry of a destination wedding come through an email. The thought of traveling to unknown places and do what you love is just what every hair and makeup artist inspires to do. Ralph and Maria, to be, Dominguez, contacted me to be apart of their exceptional Puerto Rican Wedding in Old San Juan. Not only would I be experience this trip, but one of my preferred photography vendors Erika Delgado would be joining me!
Our destination into Old San Juan was full of culture, art and sole. The authentic streets of azure cabal stone drove us from one venture to the next. Maria has a specific look in mind when it came to her hair and makeup. I had every dream to make all of hers come true. Romantic long bodied curls complete with a dazzling tiara of Swarovski.
To complement the wine shaded bridesmaid dresses; a hue of mauve and silver smoked her eyes. Using the airbrush on her ensure not only perfect porcelain skin which mimicked her own, but the waterproof product allowed for no fault when she danced, perspired or even the enviable, cried. Capturing every moment of this epic wedding was Erika, scanning every brush stroke.
This modern boutique style wedding was the perfect theme for a quaint sized party. I valued every moment of this excursion and I have found my passion in destination weddings.
I never though Id see the day that I work get an email from GUESS ask me, to do hair and makeup for them. Not only is it just GUESS but its on of the worlds BIGGEST DJ's. It will be held at the Lincoln Road GUESS Store in South Beach, Miami for the signing then off to LIV Night Club at the Fountain Bleu South Beach (also the BIGGEST club right now.)
Say Yes to the Dress: Atlanta Season 4, Ep. 11 "Skin Can't Win"
As in there description, Say Yes to the Dress Atlanta brings Southern charm to a familiar series. Set in the nation's largest full service bridal salon in Atlanta, they also brought themselves down to Miami, Florida to tape the remaining series for the show. Jack and Meg Liz Owoc, long time clients of mine, were chosen to be feature groom and bride for the TLC Network show. Meg Liz kindly ask for my hair and makeup services for the day of her wedding. I gladly accepted her offer! Here are a few behind the scenes shots from filming the day of and some final product shots of the episode. The video of the actual show will be posted in the next couple of weeks!
